Your account
When you create a Shopify store, you create a Shopify account. Your Shopify account connects all stores and organizations associated for your account, for stores that you own, or stores that you have a user account on.
From your Shopify account, you can manage your account details, security settings, and access stores associated with your account.
If you have multiple stores, then you can use the store switcher to navigate between them from the Shopify admin top bar.
The following pages in the Settings menu of your Shopify admin are connected to your Shopify account:
- Billing: View and manage bills for your store or organization from this page.
- Plan: Manage store plans, including changing your plan, pausing or deactivating your plan, or re-activating a frozen store from this page.
- Users: Manage users in your store or organization from this page.
- Organization: If you're on the Shopify Plus plan, or have an organization, manage your organization name and view stores in your organization.
- General: Manage store details, group a store to an organization, or change or transfer ownership outside of your existing users from this page.
